Twin Falls Temple

We recently had the opportunity to take in the Dedication of the Twin Falls Temple. I grew up 30 mintues from Twin Falls, so this was a very exciting time for the area. My folks have now been called as ordinance workers and are very much enjoying the time. My folks were also heavily involved with getting the Temple ready for all the visitors. I was able to spend the Saturday prior, helping mom and dad with the last minute details. Tricia took the kids through the tour with mom and I think it made a for many wonderful memories for Grayce, especially the brides room. Sunday mom and dad hooked us up with some tickets for the cornerstone ceremony. Grayce and my niece Marin were able to sit front and center to see President Monson. Marin was actually chosen to help place mortar. This was certainly a highlight for all of us.

Jackson Hole

A month ago (OK, I know it shouldn't take this long to post), our good friend Mike and Linda Larsen invited us to go to Jackson Hole for the weekend. They actually have a family cabin in Alpine which is about 30 minutes from Jackson Hole near Palisades. We had a blast. They a four wheeler and motorcycle to comb the mountains with. Mike and Linda's kids Aly, Hannah, and Ian also came. Our kids love the older girls and so it was a fantastic time. Mike and I watched the kids one day so Tricia, Linda, Aly, and Hannah could go River Rafting down the Snake River. I think they had a great time. The weather was a nice reprieve from the aweful summer heat. It rained off and on, but that actually added to the fun we had. Thanks Larsens.

Mason's Birthday

Mason is 2 years old now and acting like it. He is really talking now and we are having fun teaching him new things. He is Grayce's shadow and loves his mom. He really enjoyed his cake and all the cars and trucks he received. Here he is taking his binki and blankie for a spin.
