We talked Duke and Morghan into driving from Reno to meet us in Gooding for an early surprise birthday party for mom. Naturally it was windy and fairly cold, but we didn't let that keep us from some activities. Naturally there was a bus ride for Mason. We snuck in a few holes of golf and as I recall, actually beat Duke this time!!!! ( let the record show, I'm sure it will be the last time). We also took the kids out to "Little" City of the Rocks north of town. This isn't the famous City of the Rocks in Idaho, but gives a fair representation of the famous one. Each family surprised mom with 12 thoughts of what she meant to us. This added up to 60 thoughts for mom's 60th birthday. Great idea Kadie, and Fantastic work Jake in executing it.
