Soldier Mountain

We recently visited my folks and decided to get Grayce up for her first ski lesson. We went to our old stomping grounds. A little place called Soldier Mountain. It's a great family location to get the kids up and going. As you can tell, she handled it like a Champ!

We of course had lots of help from Grandma Sue (thanks for watching Mason), and Grandpa, who may as well have been on the payroll that day. All the kids took right to him as they watched him interact with Grayce.

Some final instruction from Grandpa. I think it went something like.......Hold on tight, fall over on your side, make lots of turns.

By the end of the day, we took Grayce up on the chair lift. We completely wore her out, but she keeps asking when we are going to go again. She comes by that rightly with two parents that love to ski.

Yeah, we've been waiting for these pictures. Grayce you are a wonder and you are going to love skiing just like your mom and dad and grandpa Cheney. Were the man and lady with big, big smiles on their faces your parents??? mmmmm

Fun!! She looks so cute. That is one thing we would like to do with the kids, one day.
